METHOD FOR DETECTING NUMBER OF REMAINING PINS IN BOWLING GAME, AND BOWLING CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the number of remaining pins in a bowing game which can accurately detecting the remaining pins with one camera. SOLUTION: In the method for detecting the number of remaining pins, the pins on a bowing lane after throwing a ball are photographed by one camera and the bowing lane controller detects the number of the remaining erected pins on the basis of image data which are obtained by photographing with the camera. A mirror is arranged within the photographing range of the camera for photographing the pins and also at a position for reflecting the situation of the remaining pins from the side of the pins. The bowing lane controller analyzes the image data of the remaining pins and the image data of the mirror arranged at the side of the pins with the camera so as to detect the number of remaining pins.
