PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide underpants characteristic in a penis/scrotum housing part solving the following problems: the penis/scrotum get in contact with unevenness caused by sewn-up parts to be scraped against the unevenness in conventional underpants which are formed through sewing up cut fabrics; the penis is tightly trapped in pants such as "brief type" ones when the penis rises up; the scrotum gets in touch with the thigh due to forward and backward movements of the legs because "trunks type" underpants are formed into a two-forked shape, and the scrotum where the testicle is housed is at a narrow part between the two legs. SOLUTION: The underpants characteristic in a penis/scrotum housing part has the following structure: a penis/scrotum housing part 4 wrapping the penis/scrotum in a cylindrical shape is knitted so as to be connected to an underpants body 1; the penis/scrotum housing part 4 wrapping the penis/scrotum cylindrically projects from the pants body 1 so as to naturally correspond to the male body shape to reach a housing part opening 5; the penis/scrotum housing part 4 knitted to be formed into the cylindrical shape wraps the penis/scrotum; the cylindrically knitted penis/scrotum housing part 4 is placed between the thigh part and the penis/scrotum for partition; and the penis/scrotum housing part 4 is integrally knitted.
