VOLTAGE - CURRENT CONVERSION CIRCUIT, MIXER CIRCUIT, AND MOBILE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced voltage-current conversion circuit a transconductance of a transconductor section (amplifier section) of which is independent of a current and the power consumption of which can be controlled in a way of being adaptive to a reception environment. SOLUTION: Both the gain and the linearity are deteriorated by controlling adaptively and simply depending on the environment such as surrounding disturbing wave in a voltage-current conversion section for realizing low distortion in the voltage-current conversion circuit. By taking a notice of a cross-coupled configuration with a characteristic independent of the current with respect to a transconductor section for realizing low distortion, the gain is set by a mirror ratio and a negative feedback resistor of transistors connected in parallel and a variable current source is attached to the transconductor section so as to realize the maintenance of the gain and variable control of the linearity while adaptively controlling the consumed current in response to the environment such as the surrounding disturbing wave.
