Peptides useful for diagnosis and therapy of tumors

Described are peptides having the amino acid motif EDYELMDLLAYL and related motifs which are capable of specifically binding to tumor cells. The present invention also relates to various diagnostic and therapeutic uses of peptides and (recombinant) proteins containing said motifs and (recombinant) RNA, (recombinant) DNA and recombinant viruses encoding peptides or proteins containing said motifs.
