The cover has a fastening tongue (6) for attaching a cover (3) to a reclining seat for restraint of a passenger covered with the cover by two-dimensional absorption of force, where the fastening tongue is released non-destructively. The fastening tongue is attached via a strap (7) with the cover, and is attached to a belt buckle, which may be attached to the reclining seat. The strap is attached to a peripheral edge band of a tearproof material and is fixed with an adhesive or sewn to the peripheral edge band.
