FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, surface tillage equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: sweeping roller has levers and spiral with wedge-shaped working surface. Spiral coils are made of left-handed and right-handed coiling. Roller is equipped with drum mounted on split axles by means of bearings and silent blocks rigidly secured on levers. Spiral is mounted on drum by means of spokes. Spiral coils are inclined toward longitudinal and transverse planes extending through axis of rotation of drum. Wedge-shaped working surface of spiral has faces, ribs and teeth. Acute end of each tooth is oriented in direction coinciding with direction of rotation of roller. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and improved tillage quality owing to improved crumbling of soil by means of ribs, faces and teeth and also owing to combing out of weeds. ^ 2 dwg |
