FIELD: liquid extraction performed by means of centrifugal differential contact extractors at radial flow of liquid mixtures being treated. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes free delivery of contacting liquids to apparatus. Apparatus has fixed housing equipped with liquid supply and discharge units and rotor made in form of flat cylindrical disk with packing inside it. Rotor is profiled and packing is sectionalized both radially and circumferentially. Height of packing chamber in radial direction is determined by the following relationship: where hRo and HRi are heights of rotor packing cavity at radii Ro and Ri, respectively; x=1.18-1.87. Packing sections are provided with individual drives whose speed depends on intensity of centrifugal field and is found from the following formula: where nRi and nRo is number of revolutions of sections at respective radii Ri and Ro. Proposed method enhances efficiency of extractors by 20=30%, increases productivity by 1.5-2 times, reduces overall dimensions and mass by 1.5-3 times. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduced power requirements; optimization of radial flow structure in extractor; improved technological parameters of apparatus. ^ 1 dwg, 6 ex |
