PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IC socket capable of easily being attached with a contact pin. SOLUTION: The IC socket is equipped with a board member with a plurality of grooves formed in parallel with holes at centers of the grooves, contact pins inserted into the grooves of the board member with at least one bent part formed at a center, given with an elastic force, and with the bent part inserted into the hole part of the board member, and a socket housing with the board members mounted in an overlapped state.
