PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure an interior component having an opening portion suppressing lifting, waving, and shrink phenomenon of a skin material, by securely fixing a terminal portion at a terminal portion facing the opening of the skin material to a core structuring the interior component, also in a vertical direction of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In an upper armrest 22 as an interior component structured to have the opening portion 7 by coating the core 23 with the skin material 24, a locking piece 11 as a locking portion is formed at the terminal portion 23b of the core 23 facing the opening portion 7. An engaging hole 12 is formed on the skin material 24 so as to oppose to the locking piece 11. The locking piece 11 is engaged with the engaging hole 12, thereby locking the terminal portion 24b facing the opening portion 7 of the skin material 24 for terminal processing.
