PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate raise of shelf plates or any step between adjacent the shelf plates when a cargo is loaded in a two-directional shed of a flat shelf type in which cargoes can be taken in/taken out from both sides. SOLUTION: Two rows of a plurality of front stay 5 group in plan view erected with an adequate space along the extending direction of transfer passages 9 are arranged between the two transfer passages 9 extending parallel to each other in plan view. The front stay 5 group of each row is connected to each other via a beam-shaped rail 7 extending in the horizontal direction. A plurality of intermediate shelf plates 31 are supported by two rails 7 facing each other. An area demarcated by the four front stays 5 located on both ends of the two rails 7 facing each other forms a storage unit in which unit storage areas capable of taking out/taking in a cargo W by a mobile truck 8 traveling on the transfer passages 9 on both sides are arranged back-to-back. The intermediate shelf plate 31 group of each storage unit is connected to each other via a beam member 61, and the intermediate shelf plates are held in one plate manner while permitting a state in which the cargo W is loaded across the adjacent intermediate shelf plates 31.
