EVALUATION METHOD FOR EXOTHERMIC DURABILITY OF RUBBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for the exothermic durability of rubber capable of simply judging a blowout capacity in a short time. SOLUTION: The creep (%) produced in a rubber test piece is measured with the elapse of time while repeatedly applying compression to the rubber test piece using a flexometer to calculate an equilibrium value when the reduction of the creep is converted to an increment and the blowout capacity of the rubber test piece is judged on the basis of the elapse time when the incremental quantity of the creep from the equilibrium value reaches a predetermined threshold value X.
