The device has the shape of an end piece (9) with two levers (10, 10`) mounted slidingly on the end piece. The levers slide between a position in which they extend laterally with respect to the end piece, and another position in which they are retracted with respect to the end piece. A returning unit (15) returns the levers in the position where they extend laterally with respect to the end piece. An independent claim is also included for a roller shutter including an apron constituted of blade assembly.
