<p>To view a sharp image by Maxwellian view by making a Maxwellian view condensing/converging point agree with a pupil position easily, constantly and quickly with a simple configuration. The position of a Maxwellian view condensing/converging point A is easily, constantly and quickly adjusted with respect to a pupil position when the position of a spot light source (11) is automatically adjusted by a light source drive unit (14) by using, as a display image light incident to a convex lens (13) (or HOE), parallel lights as in Fig. 1(a) or a spherical wave in place of parallel lights as in Fig.1(b). At the same time, the optical system can be configured to be shorter by a distance M, as the light path length L of the entire optical system using a spherical wave shown in Fig. 2(b), than when parallel lights are used as in Fig. 2(a).</p> |
