PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a door-open/close detector capable of improving insulation performance, decreasing consumption power of the refrigerator, decreasing electricity charge and preventing appearance from being damaged. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 which allows a front face opening formed on a refrigerator main body to be opened and closed with a heat insulation door 7 and a hinge 13 is equipped with a hole element 18 provided at either one of an upper face of the heat insulation door 7 or the hinge 13 and a magnet 28 provided at the other one of an upper face of the heat insulation door 7 and the hinge 13 to face against the hole element 18.
