PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorant composition exhibiting an enough deodorizing effect on a wide range of odor substances. SOLUTION: This deodorant composition comprises 0.1-30 wt.% of at least one kind of sugar selected from the group consisting of xylitol, trehalose and maltitol, 0.1-20 wt.% of a plant extract comprising polyphenol compounds, 0.05-10 wt.% of a surfactant, and an aqueous carrier.
