PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excessive operating capacity of a compressor so as to save energy by lowering the operating capacity of the compressor when it reaches a specified state. SOLUTION: A compressor 16 is operated with a specified spare capacity (frequency of current fed to the compressor 16 is 30 Hz) or more. In this case, when the temperature of a refrigerant flowing through an outdoor heat exchanger 21 during cooling operation is a second low temperature set value (6 deg.C) or less which is higher than a first low temperature set value (2 deg.C), and the refrigerant temperature during heating operation is a second high temperature set value (52 deg.C) or more which is lower than a first high temperature set value (56 deg.C), operating capacity of the compressor 16 is lowered. As a result, unpleasant feeling of cold air generated by excessive operation of the compressor 16, dew condensation in the indoor heat exchanger 21, or inappropriateness and the like of the discharged air temperature of excessive heating and the like in an indoor upper part space due to a rise in the discharged air temperature are prevented, and energy can be saved by suppressing the operating capacity of the compressor 16. |
