PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a antifreezing agent capable of efficiently carrying out spraying operation and scarcely causing a corrosion. SOLUTION: The antifreezing agent comprises a solution containing 5-30 mass% sodium formate, 0.1-10 mass% ammonium formate and 0.1-4 mass% glycol. The antifreezing agent comprising an aqueous solution containing 25 mass% sodium formate, 5 mass% ammonium formate and 3 mass% propylene glycol has especially low freezing temperature of the solution and high road surface freezing-suppressing effect and the agent is excellent in long-term stability of the solution and does not generate corrosion.
