An electrode assembly, and a secondary battery containing the electrode assembly are provided to improve the manufacturing processability of a battery. An electrode assembly is formed by placing a plurality of stack type unit cells(10) on a long sheet type separator film(30) and winding it, wherein the unit cells comprise at least two kinds of cells according to the constitution of an electrode active mass. Preferably the unit cell is a bicell or full cell. Preferably the unit cells comprise first unit cells(21) having a long lifetime and a high capacity and second unit cells(22) having high rate charge/discharge characteristics. |
