PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station device, a base station device, a communication method, an integrated circuit, and a radio communication system which enable the base station device and the mobile station device to efficiently intercommunicate by determining a parameter related to an uplink signal or an uplink reference signal.SOLUTION: A mobile station device which communicates with a base station device, generates an uplink signal by using a first parameter or a second parameter on the basis of detection of a physical downlink control channel, and transmits the generated uplink signal in a first physical uplink control channel format or a second physical uplink control channel format.
