<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the offensive noise of a compressor when the vehicle velocity drops by regenerative cooperative braking so as to start the power generation of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A brake computer 20, a travel control system computer 10, and a fuel cell computer 103 constitute in cooperation a controller for a fuel cell vehicle. The brake computer 20 controls braking, using the regenerative braking by motor and the frictional braking by frictional brake in combination. The travel control system computer 10, the brake computer 20, and the fuel cell computer 103 control each system so as not to stop the power generation of the fuel cell 11 even if there is no power demand to the fuel cell 11, in case that the car velocity falls under a given value during braking of a vehicle or in case that the time until switching from regenerative braking to frictional braking is under a given value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
