<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric system for an engine automobile whereby miniaturization and reduction of the weight can be achieved, limitation for attachment can be prevented, maintenance can be dispensed with, enhanced power generation efficiency can be exhibited, and the cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: An on-board battery 6 is charged by AC voltage of a generator 4 driven by a rotary shaft of an automobile traveling prime mover 2 through a rectifier 5. The AC voltage is generated on a stator winding 4e of the generator 4 by magnetic flux by a permanent magnet 4f attached on a rotor 4a of the generator 4, the AC voltage is converted to DC voltage by the semiconductor rectifier 5, and the on-board battery 6 is charged by the DC voltage through a boosting and step-down chopper 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
