A valve (222) is provided for both inflation and deflation and for quick closure after inflation. A rigid sleeve (54) is provided that is in fluid communication with the outside and inside of the inflatable product. A plug (58) may be provided for closing the rigid sleeve. A collapsible tube (62) is attached to the inside of the rigid sleeve (54) and extends inward into the inflatable product.
