<p>An image processing apparatus capable of facilitating a treatment of the data of images as captured. A server apparatus stores therein pattern images and control information according to the identifiers of users. A digital camera captures an image of a subject; acquires, from the server apparatus, the pattern images and control information; determines whether any part of the image data provided by capturing the image is coincident with any part of the acquired pattern images; and, if so, operates in accordance with an operational instruction included in the control information. If the operational instruction is a mosaic processing, the coincident part is subjected to the mosaic processing. Alternatively, if the operational instruction is an image replacement, the coincident part is replaced by a predetermined image or subjected to a CG processing. Alternatively, if the operational instruction is a frame deletion, then the corresponding image data is deleted.</p> |
