PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection system for obtaining a high-definition projection image inexpensively in comparison with a case depending on hardware. SOLUTION: An image projection system for displaying one image on a screen using images projected by a plurality of projectors includes: projector arrangement parameter calculation software for picking up image data for determining projector arrangement projected on the screen using an image pickup means, reading the picked-up image data for determining projector arrangement, computing a projector arrangement parameter based on the picked-up image data for determining projector arrangement and storing the computed parameter on a storage medium; and image processing/dividing software for reading the projector arrangement parameter, correcting/dividing image data based on the projector layout parameter, creating a plurality of projection data, and outputting the plurality of projection data to the plurality of projectors via an image input/output board.
