PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a medical image being the target of X-ray reading to be referred to with opinion contents at the time of preparing the X-ray reading reports of a medial image in order to make the other party accurately and easily understand it by a simple operation.

SOLUTION: A link corresponding range is specified for a character string (S14) arrayed in the opinion column of a medical report display picture (S15). Then, a drag operation to designate any contents under monitor display is inputted (S16). Then, when a drag display icon is dropped to the link corresponding range display part of a medical report preparation picture, and a character string is designated, the address information of the contents is acquired, and the address information of the reference destination contents is attached to the character string (S17 to S19). The color of the character string in the link corresponding range is changed, and an under line is attached to the character string so that the character string is discriminately displayed (S20). After report preparation is completed, the file is stored, and a series of processing is ended (S22), and the file is transferred to, for example, an X-ray reading report preparation requester.
