PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small-sized sanitary videt device which secures safety even when a toilet seat is washed as it is. SOLUTION: The temperature of a heat generation part 2 for warming the toilet seat 1 is detected by a temperature detection part 3, prescribed AC components are taken out by an AC portion takeout part 10 from the signals of an oscillation part 9 which oscillates corresponding to the detected value, and the signal is compared with a prescribed value in a comparison part 11. A temperature computing part 12 computes the temperature of the temperature detection part 3 on the basis of the signal of the comparison part 11 and the heat generation part 2 is controlled in a control part 4 on the basis of the arithmetic result. Additionally, the temperature computing part 12 stops temperature computation based on the temperature detection part 3 for prescribed time after power is supplied from a power source part 7 to a temperature input circuit part 8. Thus, the surface temperature of the toilet seat 1 is controlled at all times without erroneously detecting the surface temperature of the toilet seat 1. Since the toilet seat 1 and a product body are electrically connected by two wires, the constitution of detaching the toilet seat 1 mechanically is easily realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
