PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear structure of a vehicle body capable of correcting the control and the resonance frequency of the energy absorption waveform when the load in a rear-end collision is input in the vehicle body side, and efficiently reducing the impact on an occupant. SOLUTION: An energy absorption control means 10 is provided in a space from a rear bumper reinforcement 1 to a rear panel 4 via a bumper stay 3, and the function of flattening the energy absorption waveform during the rear-end collision and the function of correcting the resonance frequency are demonstrated by the energy absorption control means 10.
