PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object terminal apparatus capable of suitably executing an application program even when an OS of slow start is used, and also provide a method for starting the mobile object terminal apparatus. SOLUTION: The mobile object terminal apparatus comprises: an interruption program 9 for acquiring an input signal from an external signal source 11 when a power supply is turned on; an interruption initialization means 8 for starting the interruption program 9 before starting scheduling by an OS 4; a storage means 2 for storing the input signal acquired by the interruption program 9; a switching means 10 for switching the acquisition of the input signal from the external signal source 11 from the interruption program 9 to an application program 6 after starting the scheduling of the OS 4; and an arithmetic means 7 for correcting the storage data of the input signal which may be used for the application program 6 on the basis of the input signal stored in the storage means 2.
