A calcium phosphate base particulate compound characterized by satisfying the relationships: (a) 20 <= Sw <= 300 (BET specific surface area, m2/g), (b) 1 <= Tg <= 150 (heat loss per g of calcium carbonate at temperature from 250 to 500°C, mg/g), (c) 0.005 <= Dx50 <= 0.5 (counted from large particle side, cumulative 50% average diameter calculated from TEM measurements, mum), and (d) 1.5 <= Dx50/Sigmax <= 20 (standard deviation {ln(Dx16/Dx50)}). This calcium phosphate base particulate compound excels in not only particle uniformity and dispersion but also thermal stability, so that it finds application in the production of, for example, a resin composition excelling in antiblocking properties, a resin composition excelling in printability or a food composition such as a calcium enriched milk of good flavor exhibiting reduced deposition tendency.
|
