PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional flow generator which serves as a nozzle for use in a sandblast machining method, and can discharge powder in powdery fluid from a slit-shaped outlet, uniformly in an outlet longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the two-dimensional flow generator, when powdery fluid is fed into a powdery fluid feed section 34, the powdery fluid flows in an annular channel 22 and then in a developing channel 30 to be progressively developed into a slit-like flow, whereby a two-dimensional flow of the powdery fluid is discharged from the slit-like outlet 32. Herein the annularly formed powdery fluid flows in the annular channel 22, and therefore powder in the powdery fluid in the annular channel 22 is almost uniformly distributed in the circumference, whereby the powder in the powdery fluid in the developing channel 30 is almost uniformly distributed in the outlet 32 longitudinal direction. Therefore the powder in the powdery fluid can be discharged from the outlet 32 uniformly, in the outlet 32 longitudinal direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
