PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray device which is equipped with a detector capable of positioning the detecting face at various distances in a side direction of a patient to expand usability of a large detector so as to improve approachability to a patient. SOLUTION: This X-ray device is equipped with an adjustable diaphragm (8) which stops down the X-ray into a test range and a detector (6) with a partial face proximal to the patient and a residual face distant from the patient to intercept the stopped down incident X-ray. The detector (6) can be asymmetrically driven so as to read only the partial face proximal to the patient and the diaphragm (8) is asymmetrically movable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
