The invention relates to an arrangement for lining the interior of a passeng er vehicle such as an airplane with several honeycomb panels (22) arranged side by side. Each honeycomb panel (22) comprises at least two fibre-reinforced plastic cover layer (44) glued respectively above and below at least one forming a laminate honeycomb core (46), wich laminate is arranged so as to extend parallel to the outer skin of the aircraft and follow the curvature o f the outer skin.The honeycomb formation used is made of paper- or aramide honeycomb cores or of a mixed combination of both honeycomb cores types. As an alternative, further fibre-reinforced plastic insulation layers are glued on to the outer surface of the respective cover layer (44) supported above and bel ow the honeycomb formation. Moreover, the layer design of the honeycomb panelli ng may comprise further honeycomb cores which are additionally stacked on and glued to the honeycomb panel used.
