<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can detect, monitor, and cope with bacteria, such as Legionella bacteria and Escherichia coli bacteria, in bath water remarkably quickly, easily, and inexpensively, and a method. <P>SOLUTION: The amount of ATP contained in the bath water is measured by using an ATP measuring instrument 1. Detected or observed data, such as the number of guests of a bathhouse and the concentration of chlorine, are accumulated into a server by using the Internet. The server monitors the data, such as the amount of ATP in the bath water, gives information when the measured ATP amount is large, performs schedule management, and reports a trend of the ATP amount, countermeasures, and the like to a manager by using the Internet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
