PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a phenomenon in which gear elements rub each other when the positions of the stacked gears are shifted in the axial direction of the gears and the disadvantage that loud noise is generated due to the phenomenon of getting over a step between the gear elements, in a pair of gears in which stacked gears formed by integrally fixing a plurality of gear elements in layers mesh with each other. SOLUTION: A pair of gear is composed of a first stacked gear 1 and a second stacked gear 2, which are respectively stacked gears formed by integrally fixing two or more gear elements formed of a metal plate in layers. The face width position of a mating face 1a between first gear elements in the first stacking gear 1 as one stacking gear is always made different from the face width position of a mating face 2a between second gear elements 21 in the second stacking gear 2 as the other stacking gear.
