PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter unit for tap water of excellent workability and durability capable of holding sandwichingly and surely a meter for the tap water arranged in a meter unit body while keeping a proper condition, capable of easily recognizing the condition by a worker when the meter for the tap water is arranged in an improper condition, and capable of preventing surely erroneous attaching. SOLUTION: In this meter unit 1 for the tap water wherein holding parts 2, 3 are erected in both sides of a base 4, and wherein the first support mechanism 5 in an upstream and the second support mechanism 6 in a downstream are attached to the holding parts 2, 3 to support both ends of the meter M for the tap water, the second support mechanism 6 in the downstream comprises a nut member 14 screwed in a cylindrical member 12, a receiving face 13 for support-receiving one end of the the meter M for the tap water is projected in a lower position of an outer end of the nut member 14, and a position confirming part 7 is extended in a tip of the receiving face 13.
