PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the push rod of a gas spring to be lightly pressed with a smaller number of parts. SOLUTION: The end section in the gas spring 18, from which the push rod 37 projects, is connected with a back frame (movable section) 3, and on the connected section, a cam member 30 having an eccentric cam surface 38 which can press the distal end of the push rod 37 to the outer peripheral surface is provided by turnably supporting by a pivotal shaft 24. At the same time, an operation lever 28 is turnably supported by the back frame 3. Also, the distal end section which is in parallel with the pivotal shaft 24 at an approximately crank-like bent section, which is connected with the side end section of the operation lever 28, is turnably fitted in a shaft hole 35a which is provided on the outside of the pivotal shaft 24 in the cam member 30.
