<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for processing separated solid that prevents ash from blowing up from separated solid including iron from ash for environmental control and improves the quality, possibility and value of the separated solid for recycling or reuse. <P>SOLUTION: The separated solid including iron sorted and separated from ash is washed by water in the apparatus for processing separated solid 48 to remove ash adhering to the separated solid. Ash is thus prevented from blowing up during, for example, loading and transportation of the separated solid for recycling or reuse.
