DOUBLE PIPE TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance by preventing a flow passage from being occluded by scale. SOLUTION: In the spirally bent double pipe type heat exchanger 1 having an inner pipe 6 with a first fluid flow passage 8 in it and an outer pipe 7 provided outside of the inner pipe 6 with a second fluid flow passage 9 formed between the inner pipe 6 and the outer pipe 7, a heat exchange unit 3 having an inward spiral double pipe 5b formed to spirally distribute water inward through a water flow passage 9 and heat exchange units 2, 4 having an outward spiral double pipe 5a formed to distribute water outward through the water flow passage 9 are alternately stacked and the outward spiral double pipe 5a is provided at the heat exchange unit 4 at a water discharge port side.
