The block has a male connecting part (6) horizontally projecting from one end of the block and having a retaining unit (8). A female connecting part (7) has a vertical slit (9) opening towards the top and inside the block in a reception chamber (10) of the retaining unit. The female part receives the male part by the introduction of the male part from the top towards the base to place the retaining unit inside the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a safety barrier.
