METHOD FOR INDUCING DIFFERENTIATION OF CELL HAVING PLURIPOTENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a factor associated with the induction of differentiation of cells having pluripotency, and a use of the factor.

SOLUTION: Several proliferation factors are selected by expressing and analyzing variable genes in Sham-treated and CCL4-treated murine livers after 24 hr later by using a cDNA microarray technology. Then the effects of matrices and proliferation factors on the differentiation rates of the liver cells from ES cells are investigated, and as a result, the differentiation of the liver cells from the ES cells is successful without being mediated by EBs by a simple adhesion single culture in several proliferation factor-containing media in different 2 matrix-culturing dishes.
