A device for selecting a mode of a tri-mode mobile communication terminal is provided to use an existing GSM antenna switch for a dual band, thereby supporting GSM, CDMA, PCS modes without a specific switching element. An antenna transceives an RF signal. A matching circuit(110) performs an impedance match by being connected with the antenna. A control unit(180) generates a control signal. An antenna switch(120) switches between the matching circuit(110) and a GSM Tx terminal, a GSM Rx terminal, a DCS TX terminal, and a DCS RX terminal by the control signal of the control unit(180). A GSM wireless circuit unit(130) is connected to the GSM TX terminal and the GSM Rx terminal. A CDMA duplexer(140) and a PCS duplexer(150) are connected to the DCS Tx terminal and the DCS Rx terminal, respectively. A CDMA wireless circuit unit(160) and a PCS wireless circuit unit(170) are connected to the CDMA duplexer(140) and the PCS duplexer(150), respectively.
