<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of restraining noises by always obtaining a stable air flow without disturbing the air flow flowed along a scroll face. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 2 mainly comprises an upper casing 6, a blasting mechanism 7, and an indoor heat exchanger unit 5 accommodated in the indoor unit 2. The blasting mechanism 7 constitutes the bottom of the indoor unit 2, and is constituted by modularizing a bottom frame module 70 and the like. The bottom frame module 70 comprises an outer face part 74, a supporting part 78, a lower scroll 79b, and the like. The scroll 79 is divided into two upper and lower parts, and constituted of an upper scroll 79a and the lower scroll 79b.
