Blade to blade connection in a turbomachine

A method for fitting turbine blades has the blades secured into support blocks (2) arranged around the turbine and linked by thrust faces (4). A thrust element (8) is fitted into one end of each block and presents a flat thrust surface (13) to the adjacent block. Each thrust element has a spherical profile fitted into a correspondingly spherical recess to provide automatic tilt adjustment. The adjacent block can be fitted with a fixed flat thrust surface, either as an inlay or as a fixed thrust element secured into a conical recess.
