摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of fabricating a pad spring of automobile disk brake having high precision and greatly reducing fabrication cost in an automated production manner for mass-production. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a pad spring of automobile disk brake comprises a first step of forming pilot holes(300) an edge portion of both sides of strip and forming a pad spring external shape in the unfolded state on a central portion of the strip by notching such that a surface of the strip on which groove of a pad guide part(102) is formed is not notched to continuously transfer the notched strip to the following step; a second step of bending an end of an elastic supporting part(101), guide protrusions(104) and catch protrusions(105) to a certain angle; a third step of bending the strip in a "( )" shape by bending left and right sides of the strip to an angle of 20 to 45 degrees in the state that a central portion of the strip on which groove is formed is left as it is as a first bending operation for forming the pad guide part; a fourth step of bending a part to be a caliper fixing part(103) on one portion of the bent part in a "∨" shape on a portion spaced from the pad guide part in a certain distance and bending a part to be the elastic supporting part on the other portion of the bent part in a crooked corner shape of the outer circumferential surface of a pad plate in both portions of the bent part in the "( )" shape; a fifth step of correcting the bent part by secondly bending the "∨" shape bent part perpendicularly, and correcting the elastic supporting part by secondly bending the elastic supporting part also to correct spring back phenomenon; a sixth step of secondly perpendicularly bending left and right portions of the pad guide part bent to an angle of 20 to 45 degrees in the third step; and a seventh step of separating the spring pad from the strip by trimming operation.
