PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetoresistance effect element which can cope with high-density recording of at least 500 Gbit/inch2. SOLUTION: The magnetoresistance effect element is provided with a first and a second magnetic layers (11, 12) which are arranged being isolated from each other and in which magnetization direction is fixed substantially, and a non-magnetic conductive layer (3) which is formed being in contact with the first and the second magnetic layers (11, 12) as a course of spin polarized electrons from one magnetic layer to the other magnetic layer and in which a part positioned between the first and the second magnetic layers (11, 12) is specified as a magnetism sensing region.
