PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample injector and method for sample injection that can surely inject a sample into an egg without harm to the egg nucleus. SOLUTION: The injection needle 204 is stuck at a certain inclined angle to the surface of the tray 203 on the black face side of the egg 601. The depth of the needle 204 is about 1/3 to 1/2 diameter of the egg 601, namely the needle is stuck preferably by the depth in the range L shown in the figure. More preferably, the needle 204 is stuck so that the point of the needle 204 may be positioned to the spot 801 directly under the nucleus 602 of the egg 601 on the black face side of the egg 601.
