PURPOSE: A method and an architecture for monitoring, reasoning, and visualizing a cross-device activity to offer statuses/forecasts for presence and availability of users to peoples and communication agents are provided to support collaboration and communication by learning forecasting models offering the presence and the availability of the users. CONSTITUTION: A learning component(134) is trained by activity patterns of more than one user. A forecasting service/component(110) generates the forecasts for the statuses of more than one user by applying the learning component. The forecasting service/component generates the forecasts for the present or future statuses of the confirmed user by receiving more than one query for the presence or the availability of the confirmed user.
