PURPOSE: A system and a method for reserving an order on mail-order sales are provided to induce purchase and process transaction on a salable time point based on stored order contents by storing the order contents in case that the sale of currently ordered goods is impossible. CONSTITUTION: An SCM(Supply Chain Management) server(100) manages a supply chain by receiving information for goods supply from vendors. A sales system(200) includes an order processing module, a reservation managing module, and a notification module. The order processing module receives/processes the order from a buyer system(300) by determining the sale of the reserved goods. The reservation managing module monitors a new item for a goods supply plan and informs the notification module of sales availability by judging the reservation information for the goods in a reservation information database(400) if the new supply plan is detected. The notification module notifies the buyer that the purchase of the reserved goods is available and confirms the purchase.
