PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the soundness of a system by integrally supervising and/or managing the version information of software which operates as it is controlled over a network that is dispersed in a complicated manner. SOLUTION: The system has a system component element consisting of a plant supervisory device 1 connected to the network and using predetermined software. The system component element consisting of the plant supervisory device 1 is provided with a processing means consisting of a version level determining function part 2 which creates the version level of the software based on version determination information 7 received by the system component element consisting of the plant supervisory device 1.
