<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp wherein thermal effect on an electronic components is suppressed by at least lessening influence of heat radiated from a connecting pin, and an inverter circuit can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: This compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 has a discharge lamp 8; and a circuit board 14 to which a connecting pin 16 connected to a lead wire 18 derived from the discharge lamp 8, and electronic components 13 composing a high frequency lighting circuit to light the discharge lamp 8 are mounted, and is equipped with an inverter circuit 6 in which the connecting pin 16 is provided on one surface on the side facing the discharge lamp 8 of the circuit board 14; a cover 4 storing the inverter circuit 5 while supporting the discharge lamp 8; and a base 2 attached to the cover 4. Since the connecting pin 16 is provided on one surface of the circuit board 14 where too many electronic components 13 of the inverter circuit 6 are not mounted, the connecting pin 16 can be efficiently disposed on the circuit board 14, and the inverter circuit 6 can be miniaturized. In addition, it is prevented to thermally influence the electronic components 13 mounted on the other surface side, even if the temperature of the connecting pin 16 rises when the lead wire 18 is connected to the electrode of the discharge lamp 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
